Dehinel Plus Flavor is an internal antiparasitic in the form of an aromatic tablet for dogs.

1 tablet contains:

Febantel 150 mg

Pirantel embonat 144 mg

Praziquantel 50 mg

Yellow, round, biconvex tablets, with darker spots visible on the sides, with a quarter incision on one side.

The tablet can be divided into 2 or 4 equal parts (halved or divided).

Treatment of mixed infestations with roundworms, nematodes and cestodes in dogs.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Do not use concomitantly with piperazine compounds

The dose should not be exceeded when treating pregnant females.

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.

Do not use in chickens less than 2 weeks old and / or weighing less than 2 kg.

SIDE EFFECTS

Rarely, some pups may experience diarrhea and / or vomiting. Very rarely, vomiting with or without diarrhea may occur in adult dogs.

The frequency of adverse reactions should be determined according to the following guidelines:

Dosage

The recommended dose per kg body weight is 15 mg febantel, 14.4 mg pirantel embonate and 5 mg praziquantel, ie 1 tablet per 10 kg body weight. The tablets are placed at the base of the tongue or inside a piece of food. There is no need to restrict access to food before or after use of the product.

ADVICE ON CORRECT ADMINISTRATION

The body weight of the animal must be measured for accurate dosing.

Puppies can be treated after the age of 3 weeks after a positive faecal examination for mixed infestations. In infestations with roundworms in puppies, it is recommended to repeat the treatment at the age of 6 and 12 weeks. Then the treatment is repeated every 3 months. It is advisable to treat the female at the same time as the chicks.

For the treatment of Toxocara infection in lactating bitches, it should be given 2 weeks after calving and every two weeks until weaning.

For general deworming, a single dose is recommended every 3 months. In case of severe nematode infection, re-treatment is recommended after 14 days.

SPECIAL WARNING (S)

Special warnings for each target species:

Fleas are intermediate hosts of a common tapeworm species, Dipylidium caninum. Worm infection is likely to recur if concomitant treatment with intermediate hosts (eg fleas, mice, etc.) is omitted.

Special precautions for use in treated animals:

Any tablet residue should be discarded.

Do not use in chickens less than 2 weeks old and / or weighing less than 2 kg.

For proper hygiene, hands should be washed thoroughly after administration of the tablet (directly or mixed with food).
