What does it contain?
Bergamot is the most delicate of the citrus plants, requiring a special climate and soil to thrive. In Greece, the unripe fruit is eaten by the spoonful as a dessert or with coffee. Bergamot oil is unique among citrus oils because it is both uplifting and soothing. Bergamot has been used for hundreds of years for its soothing and rejuvenating effect on the skin.
Known for its rich color and warm, woody fragrance, cedarwood essential oil offers a multitude of skin benefits. Cedarwood is considered one of the most effective oils for restoring balance and creating a soothing atmosphere at the end of a long day. It is native to cold climates, prefers high altitudes and grows up to 30 m tall. When used externally, cedarwood essential oil has purifying properties. Cedar essential oil is also frequently used in massage because it relaxes and calms the mind and body.
Calming and relaxing, clary sage essential oil is widely used for its soothing and calming properties when applied to the skin. It also promotes emotional balance. The main chemical component of clary sage oil is linalyl acetate, which is part of the ester group, giving it some of the strongest relaxing, calming and balancing properties among essential oils.
Fennel essential oil is well known and used for centuries. Fennel oil has a sweet fragrance and an aroma and flavor similar to licorice.
Geraniums are grown for their beauty and their sweet, floral scent is used as a key ingredient in the perfume industry. The use of geranium essential oil dates back to Ancient Egypt, when the Egyptians used geranium oil for skin beautification. Geranium oil is also used to keep the skin looking healthy - making it ideal for skin care products.
Due to its distinct aroma and countless applications, lavender oil has become one of the most popular essential oils. In ancient times, the Romans and Egyptians used lavender in their bath water. Since then, many have discovered many other benefits of lavender. Lavender is widely used in cosmetics and perfumes for its ability to keep the skin healthy and clean. In addition, its calming properties are often used to relax the body and improve mood. Its versatile benefits make Lavender a must-have oil wherever you go.
Roman chamomile grows close to the ground, reaching a maximum height of 30 cm. It has grey-green leaves, daisy-like flowers and smells like an apple. The plant has been nicknamed the "plant doctor" because it has positive effects on plants growing near it. In ancient times, the Romans used Roman Chamomile oil to give them courage in battle. Although the most common use of chamomile is in teas, Roman Chamomile oil is also found in face creams, hair dyes, shampoos, and perfumes.
Ylang Ylang essential oil is obtained from the star-shaped flowers of the tropical ylang ylang tree. This essential oil is widely used in perfumery and aromatherapy and has been used in religious and marriage ceremonies for centuries. Ylang ylang is frequently used in luxury hair and skin care products due to its rich sweet aroma and protective properties. Ylang ylang also promotes feelings of calm and well-being.
