One ml contains: Meloxicam 0.5 mg.

DOSAGE AND METHOD OF  ADMINISTRATION

Oral administration.

To be administered orally, either embedded in food or directly in the mouth. 

DOSAGE

The initial treatment is represented by a single oral dose of 0.1 mg meloxicam/kg body weight, on the first day. The treatment will be continued by oral administration, once a day (at 24-hour intervals), with a maintenance dose of 0.05 mg meloxicam/kg body weight.

Clinical response normally occurs within 7 days. If there is no clinical improvement, the treatment should be stopped after no more than 14 days. 

RECOMMENDATIONS REGARDING  CORRECT ADMINISTRATION

Shake well before use.

The suspension can be administered using the Meloxoral measuring syringe provided in the package.

The syringe is adaptable to the bottle dropper and has a graduated scale in kg of body weight that corresponds to the maintenance dose. Thus, to start the treatment on the first day, a double volume will be required compared to the maintenance dose.

After each dose, the tip of the syringe should be wiped and the cap of the vial should be screwed tightly back on. The syringe should be kept in the carton between uses.

To avoid the introduction of external contaminating factors during administration, keep the syringes provided only for this product.

Particular care must be taken in the accuracy of the dosage. Please strictly follow your veterinarian's instructions.
