Ingredient properties

Basil extract is recommended in cosmetic product formulas intended for the care of oily, acne-prone skin. This plant normalizes sebum secretion, heals and soothes the epidermis. It has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. It acts on blackheads and pimples, progressively reducing them.

Sunflower oil contains vitamins A and D, calcium and iron. It is valued for its emollient properties. It helps heal fresh wounds and minor burns.

Extra virgin olive oil has the property of softening the skin. Due to its high content of linoleic acid, a compound that is not produced by the body, olive oil prevents skin dryness, maintains its elasticity and youth. It is also used as an exfoliant.

Coconut oil is obtained from the kernel of coconuts. It prevents drying and peeling of the skin, delays the appearance of wrinkles and gives the skin firmness. It is used as an adjuvant in various skin conditions: psoriasis, dermatitis, eczema, acne, etc. It is the foaming agent in soap.

Palm oil fades old scars due to its vitamin A and vitamin E content. It gives the skin a youthful and fresh appearance. It has moisturizing properties. It is an adjuvant in skin diseases such as psoriasis and eczema.

Sodium hydroxide is used to saponify the vegetable oils used in soap making. The amount of sodium hydroxide used in soap making is calculated so that, at the end of the saponification process, it is no longer present in the finished product, having been neutralized.

Beeswax is used in the preparation of soaps because it gives them consistency and stability. It is known for its restructuring and elasticity action on the skin, which it soothes and helps it retain moisture.

Propolis stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, restores tissues affected by wounds, being a good healing agent. It is indicated for infections and burns, corns and keratitis, old wounds, mycoses, warts and moles. Propolis has disinfectant, anti-inflammatory, anti-acne, antioxidant properties.

Cinnamon powder is exfoliating, but also gentle enough to soften the skin. It provides better blood circulation to the epidermis, which makes the skin look fresher, more regenerated, and fine wrinkles become less visible. Due to its antiviral, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, cinnamon helps heal acne and pimples.

Cocoa Powder is rich in antioxidants, which protect the skin from free radical damage, thus preventing the aging process. It is known for its invigorating effect. It maintains the optimal pH of the skin and gives it a luminous appearance.
