DOSAGE FOR EACH SPECIES, ROUTE(S) OF ADMINISTRATION AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
Cattle and Horses: Administer orally 1ml product per 13 kg body weight (= 7.5 mg fenbendazole/kg body weight) according to the table:
Dosage recommendations:
- 65 kg 5 ml
- 135 kg 10 ml
- 200 kg 15 ml
- 265 kg 20 ml
- 335 kg 25 ml
- 400 kg 30 ml
Over 400 kg, 3.75 ml more are needed for every 50 kg of body weight.
Horses:
- Recommended dosage schedule
- All horses should be dewormed usually with a single dosage schedule every 6-8 weeks.
The treatment of inhibited cystized larvae and those fixed in the mucosa should be performed in the autumn (ideally in October/November) and subsequently repeated in the spring (ideally in February)eatment of encysted inhibited and encysted mucosal dwelling larvae should be performed in the autumn (ideally late October/November) and again in the Spring (ideally in February). However, for horses that are not in good physical shape or for those newly introduced to the herd with an unknown history of deworming, the treatment can be done at any time of the year.
5-day treatment
For the control of the larval stages and migrating larvae of large strongyles, stages 3 and 4 of larvae encased in the mucosa of small strongyles as well as stages 3 of inhibited larvae encased in the mucosa of small strongyles, administer 5 ml of the product per 64 kg body weight daily for 5 days (= 7.5 mg fenbendazole/kg body weight daily for 5 days).
Single dose treatment
- For the treatment of larval stages enclosed in the mucosa of small strongyles, administer 3 ml of product per 10 kg body weight (= 30 mg fenbendazole / kg body weight).
- For the treatment and control of the migrating and tissue larval stages of large strongyles, 6 ml of product per 10 kg body weight (= 60 mg fenbendazole / kg body weight) is administered.
- For the treatment of diarrhea caused by Strongyloides westeri in 2- to 3-week-old infant cats, 5 ml of product per 10 kg body weight (= 50 mg fenbendazole / kg body weight) is administered.
- For administration to horses, mix the product completely with the concentrated fodder or grain and give the entire dose in one administration.
Sheep and goats: Administer orally 0.5 ml per 10 kg of body weight. (= 5 mg fenbendazole/kg body weight) according to the table:
Practical dosage recommendations:
- Up to 10 kg 0.5 ml
- 11 to 20 kg 1.0 ml
- 21 to 30 kg 1.5 ml
- 31 to 40 kg 2.0 ml
- 41 to 50 kg 2.5 ml
- 51 to 60 kg 3.0 ml
- 61 to 70 kg 3.5 ml
- 71 to 80 kg 4.0 ml
Over 80 kg, a quantity of 0.5 ml is required for every 10 kg of extra body weight. In cattle, it is best to be administered with the automatic dosing gun ``Panacur 20ml Automatic Drencher'' and in sheep with the 5 ml one for sheep, but other standard types of dosing guns or administration equipment can also be used.
Dogs and cats:
- The routine treatment of dogs and cats is 50 mg fenbendazole / kg body weight administered for 3 consecutive days or a single dose of 100 mg fenbendazole / kg body weight (adults).
- For dogs and cats, the dose should be mixed with food or administered directly orally after feeding, e.g. with a plastic syringe.
- Treatment must be repeated at regular intervals to prevent natural reinfestation of animals with endoparasites, e.g. 2-4 times a year.
- Dogs from kennels must be treated at intervals of 6-8 weeks. Special treatment schemes are indicated for puppies and cats, eg: administration of the treatment at the age of 2 weeks, 5 weeks and before leaving the kennel.
- If the animals are treated collectively rather than individually, it will be necessary to group them according to body weight groups and dose accordingly, to avoid under or overdosing.
RECOMMENDATIONS REGARDING CORRECT ADMINISTRATION
- For oral administration only.
- Shake the bottle before use.
- No dietary control is necessary before or after treatment.
To ensure a correct administration of the dose, the body weight will be determined as accurately as possible, checking the proper functioning of the dosing device.

SPECIAL WARNINGS
Care should be taken to avoid the following actions that could increase the risk of developing resistance that could ultimately lead to ineffectiveness:
_ Too frequent or repeated use of anthelmintics from the same class, over a long period of time
_ Underdosing that would could be due to the wrong assessment of body weight, the wrong administration of the product, or by not calibrating the dosing device (if used)
Clinical cases suspected of anthelmintic resistance should be further investigated using appropriate tests (eg Fecal Egg Count Reduction Test ). When the test results suggest the emergence of resistance to a certain anthelmintic, an anthelmintic belonging to another pharmacological class of anthelmintics with a different mode of action will be used.
