Caniverm oral paste, syringe, 10 ml is an antiparasitic paste for dogs and cats and is indicated for diseases caused by helminths (Toxocara canis, Toxocara cati, Toxascaris leonina, Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum, Trichuris vulpis, Echinococcus granulosus, Echinococcus multilocularis, Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp., Multiceps multiceps, Mesocestoides spp.).

Composition:
1 ml of paste contains:
Active substances:

  • Fenbendazole 75 mg
  • Pyrantel embonas 72 mg
  • Praziquantel 25 mg

Excipient:

  • Butylhydroxyanisole 0.2 mg

Contraindications:

  • Ocular cysticercosis and spinal neurocysticercosis.
  • Liver disorders.
  • Do not administer together with piperazine-based preparations or other antiparasitic preparations.
  • Do not use if there is hypersensitivity to the active substances or excipient

Side effects:

  • A few hours after administration, subfebrile conditions accompanied by hypersalivation, vomiting, urticaria and semi-liquid feces may occur.
  • These symptoms appear due to the proteins resulting from the killed parasites and are not adverse reactions to the active substance in the product.
  • The drug may cause drowsiness in animals.
  • If you notice serious reactions or other effects not mentioned in this leaflet, please inform your veterinarian.

Method of administration:
Dosage:

  • The recommended dose is 15 mg of fenbendazole, 14.4 mg of pyrantel embonate and 5 mg of praziquantel per kilogram of live weight, which corresponds to 1 ml of paste per 5 kg of live weight.

The cat:

  • 0.5 ml of paste per 0.5-2 kg of live weight
  • 1 ml of paste per 2.1-5 kg ​​live weight

Dog:

  • 0.5 ml of paste for 0.5-2 kg live weight
  • 1 ml of paste for 2.1-5 kg ​​of live weight, then 1 ml of paste for every 5 kg of live weight

Make sure the animal does not have food in its mouth. Release the tip of the applicator. Insert the applicator into the animal's mouth and deposit the paste on the base of the tongue.
Immediately raise the animal's head and make sure it has swallowed all the paste administered.
Do not take with dairy products.
The dose should be administered in a single application.
In chickens, it is recommended to administer from 3 weeks to 12 weeks a single application every 3 weeks and then regularly every 3 months.

  • It is not used in animals intended for human consumption

  • During the handling of the product, smoking and eating food are prohibited.
  • After handling the product, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
  • The product may cause skin and eye irritation. Avoid contact with skin or eyes. In case of accidental contact with the product, rinse the area with a stream of clean water.
  • If the product is ingested or comes into contact with the eyes, see a doctor immediately along with the product label.
  • People with hypersensitivity to fenbendazole, pyrantel, praziquantel or any other excipient as well as pregnant women should handle the product with care.
  • When the product is handled, especially in factories and farms, people must wear gloves.
  • Special precautions for disposal of unused product or waste, as appropriate
