VITAMIN K3 Buvabila 1 L - Drinkable solution, vitamin supplement with hemorrhagic diathesis following consecutive infectious diseases, parasites or intoxications in birds. COMPOSITION: Menadione (2 methyl 1-4 naphthoquinone) 0.525 g; Sodium bisulfite 1.3 g; Distilled water up to 100 ml. PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION Vitamin K3 plays an important role in the synthesis of hepatic prothrombin and in the coagulation process, thus having a strong antihemorrhagic effect; acts on capillary endothelium and fibrinogen.Vitamin K3 deficiency causes bleeding and hypoprothrombinemia.In high doses vitamin K3 activates the reticulohistiocytic system, produces diuresis (when there is general edema), stimulates liver and bone marrow functions.TARGET SPECIES: Birds (hen, turkey, buzzard, quail, pheasant, peacock, duck, goose, pigeon). INDICATIONS It is recommended as a vitamin supplement in chickens with hemorrhagic diathesis following consecutive infectious diseases, parasites or intoxications.It is recommended in hemorrhagic syndrome in chickens and in young birds subjected to prolonged treatment with sulfamides or antibiotics, as well as as an adjunct in coccidiosis.CONTRAINDICATIONS: None. ADVERSE REACTIONS: Not observed if the recommended doses have been observed. In case of overdose, liver and kidney problems may occur. ADMINISTRATION METHOD It is administered in drinking water in a dose of 0.2-0.4 ml of Vitamin K3 (1-2 mg menadione) per chicken / day for 3-5 days.It is administered en masse in drinking water in the morning, calculating the volume of the solution according to the number of chicks.WARNINGS: Observe the recommended vitamin dose.
