The acoustic fever indicator helps you interpret the measurement result. Thanks to its compact size, the Braun ThermoScan® 3 (IRT3030) is easy to use without disturbing your baby.
The measurement takes only one second.
After the measurement is complete, the thermometer indicates with a series of beeps whether the temperature is normal, high or fever.
One beep indicates a normal temperature, 2 consecutive beeps indicate a high temperature, and 4 beeps indicate a fever. (1 beep = 37 °C, 2 beeps = 38 °C, 4 beeps = 39 °C or higher)
