SPECIAL WARNINGS:

Care should be taken to avoid the following practices, as they lead to an increased risk of resistance, and ultimately
may cause treatment ineffectiveness:
- Too frequent and repeated use of anthelmintics of the same class, over a long period of time.
- Underdosing, which may be due to underestimation of body weight, incorrect administration of the product, or lack of calibration of the
device to be administered (if one exists).
Suspected clinical cases of anthelmintic resistance should be further investigated using appropriate tests (e.g.
reduction in the number of eggs in the faeces). If the test results suggest resistance to a particular anthelmintic, another
anthelmintic belonging to a different pharmacological class and having a different mode of action.
Resistance of gastrointestinal nematodes to benzimidazoles has been reported in horses. Therefore, the use of this product must be
local epidemiological information on the susceptibility of nematodes and recommendations to further limit the
selection of anthelmintic-resistant parasites.
In order to administer the correct dose, the animal's body weight will be accurately determined.
