INDICATIONSCestal Cat Flavour is recommended for cats for the treatment of infestation with worms (cestode) and cylindrical worms (nematodes) including:* ascarids: Toxocara cati, Toxascaris leonina(adults and immature forms)* strongili: Ancylostoma tubaeforme, Uncinaria stenocephala(grown ups)* worms: Echinococcus multilocularis, Taenia spp., Dipylidium caninum,(adults and immature forms) CONTRAINDICATIONSIn caectic animals, pirantel-based products should be administered with caution.Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients. SIDE EFFECTSThe acute toxicity of the product is> 2000 mg / kg body weight. No clinical, haematological or biochemical adverse reactions were observed during animal product safety tests, even when the therapeutic doses were administered three times.No side effects were observed during clinical trials.If you notice any serious effects or other effects not mentioned in this leaflet, please inform your veterinary surgeon. TARGET SPECIEScats DOSAGE FOR EACH SPECIES, METHOD AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATIONADMINISTRATIONThe product is given orally in the following doses:- one tablet / 4 kg body weight (equivalent to praziquantel - 5 mg / kg body weight andpirantel embonate - 57.5 mg / kg body weight)- Cats weighing less than 2 kg body weight = 1/2 tablet- Cats weighing between 2 and 4 kg body weight = 1 tablet- Cats weighing between 4 and 8 kg body weight = 2 tablets The tablets can be taken directly into the mouth of the animal or mixed into food (a piece of meat,etc.) No prior diet required. For a general deworm 1 treatment is sufficient, but inIn the case of a massive infestation, it is recommended to repeat the dose after 14 days.
