VetIQ Seren-Um Drops Dog/Cat Calming, Pet Remedy Recommended By Vets For Home Alone, Noise Phobias, Hyperactivity, Dog/Cat Supplements For Pets, Calming Dog/Cat Treats
It is a natural nutritional supplement that helps calm and tame hyperactive and/or aggressive small dogs, puppies and cats.
Mark & Chappell Serene-UM Drops are specially formulated for hyperactive , aggressive or nervous dogs and cats . Serene - UM contains serotonin which is produced by the body naturally from nutrients in the diet. These nutrients form the basis for Serene - UM Calm , effectively providing the body with the raw materials to produce more serotonin , the substance that makes the animal feel happy and rewarded .
The three main ingredients are L-tryptophan, inositol and vitamin B6 , and these generally influence the production of serotonin, which is responsible for controlling sleep patterns and various states of anxiety. Inositol also causes reversible desensitization of serotonin receptors in the brain, responsible for the excitability threshold involved in epileptic seizures.
Serene-um is not promoted for use in the treatment of epilepsy, but due to its calming effect, it may indirectly reduce the likelihood of epileptic seizures. Serene-um also does not have a major effect on blood flow, the circulatory system, or liver and kidney function, which are possible side effects of long-term medication with the products mentioned above.
- It is recommended by veterinarians for travel, illness, fireworks and thunder.
- It proves very useful in the following cases of problematic behavior: excessive barking, house-sitting, grumpiness, separation anxiety, poor concentration, problematic house cats, agitation, tail chasing, chewing objects, marking in cats, marking territory in dogs, anger, restlessness, car rides, fear of fireworks, lightning, flies, nervousness, calmness during illness or injury.
- It can help your pet stay calm during times of anxiety, such as moving house, Christmas, redecorating, etc. In many situations, simply adding Serene-UM to your pet's daily diet can significantly change their behavior.
- For example, a dog that does not feel very satisfied or is difficult to please in a training situation may show a remarkable increase in concentration and learning capacity by using the Serene-UM product, simply by the fact that the animal feels more motivated to react by intensifying the desire for the reward.
- reduces the possibility of epileptic seizures
- Serene-um is an all-natural product, so liver and kidney functions are not compromised, as is the case with long-term treatment with phenobarbital.
