 Action: In its new formula, based on the combination of the two acaricidal substances, VARACHET-FORTE acts on the parasites by contact and inhalation, blocking their enzymatic and nervous functions. The combination of the two active substances in the new formula prevents the mites from developing resistance to treatment for a long period. The death of free mites on bees occurs in a few tens of minutes up to 3-4 days depending on the amount of active substance accumulated in their body. To achieve increased treatment efficiency, it is recommended to close the hive tightly, which prevents the loss of volatile active substances.

Administration method: VARACHET-FORTE is applied by fumigation through the urdinis to all bee colonies in the apiary. The fumigant cardboard strip will be folded longitudinally to ensure air circulation and therefore complete burning of the strip. The medicine, in liquid form, is taken with a pipette with which it is dripped onto the cardboard strip, with a distance between the drops. It is recommended that the strips be lit at both ends. Immediately after introducing the lit strip (without a flame), the urdinis is closed for 15-20 minutes. We draw attention to the fact that the temperature developed during the burning of the cardboard strip can reach 300 - 400º C. The treatment is done with great care by placing the fumigant strips on wire mesh or pieces of sheet metal to avoid igniting (burning) the hive or the pavilion. Due to the fact that fire is involved, beekeepers who own pavilions must have fire extinguishing equipment available during treatment. Potential fires can only occur due to the exclusive fault of the beekeeper. Owners of mobile or stationary pavilions will not enter them until they have been carefully ventilated. After treatment, the beekeeper will not sleep in the pavilion for at least 24 hours.

Dosage of the number of drops: - 2 drops for a multi-storey hive body; - 3 drops for a Dadant hive body; - 5 drops for a horizontal hive body. The number of recommended drops is related to the space occupied by the bee colony. If, after the last 2 administrations, the colonies have already been restricted for wintering or diaphragmed with a totally separating diaphragm, then the amount of VARACHET-FORTE is related to the new space occupied by the bee colony.

Ex. 1 drop for 1/2 multi-story,

2 drops for 2/3 Dadant body and

 3 drops for 1/2 horizontal body.

 When there are 2 families in a horizontal hive, each one will be administered 3 drops of VARACHET-FORTE.Treatments will be applied only when the outside temperature is above 12º C and the bees are not huddled together. Treatments are applied when most of the bees are in the hive (morning or dusk).

Number of treatments: VARACHET-FORTE can be applied during the entire active season. However, the best period, when the highest efficacy is obtained, is the autumn period when there is no more mature brood or it has been removed from the hive. The first treatment is done in spring when the bees have started normal activity and will be repeated after 7-10 days. Another treatment is recommended in August, after the last honey extraction. Depending on the geographical area and climatic conditions, at the beginning of autumn (September and October) it is recommended to apply 2 successive treatments at intervals of 7 - 10 days. The second administration is mandatory in the absence of mature brood. The presence of the brood capacit, preserves the Varroa destructor mites, which resist over the winter, reproducing in the spring with the hatching of the first generation of bees. This is one of the ways in which the disease is perpetuated, despite any treatment methods applied. Increasing the number of drops can lead to bees being poisoned, and the potential contamination of certain hive products is not to be neglected.

Caution: - The product is flammable.

 - The active substances are toxic.

 - Throughout the treatment, the beekeeper must avoid inhaling the smoke.

 - After treatment, the hands and face of the beekeeper or the person applying the treatment will be carefully washed with soap and water.

 - After the liquid in the bottle is finished, the packaging will be destroyed so that it cannot be reused.

 - The pipette is also destroyed after use.

 - If the liquid spills from the bottle onto the skin, the affected area will be washed abundantly with soap and water. If the substance touches the eyes, they will be washed for at least 15 minutes with soap and water.

 - Contaminated clothing will be immediately removed and washed with soap and water. - If crystals have formed in the liquid in the bottle, the contents are no longer used, being concentrated by evaporation of the solvent due to its unsealing.

 - The change in the color of the liquid from orange to red does not affect the action of the product.

 WARNING: There is no antidote to the two active substances in VARACHET-FORTE. In case of accidental poisoning in humans and animals, do not use atropine. Special attention must be paid to the respiratory and digestive systems. Do not induce vomiting, but perform gastric lavages with plenty of water, under strict medical supervision.

Conservation and storage:

• The medicine will be kept only in the original, tightly closed packaging;
• - If the label accidentally comes off the bottle, it will be immediately glued back in place.
• - VARACHET-FORTE will never be kept at home. It will be stored only together with beekeeping equipment and materials, protected from light, in a dry and cool place,away from open sources of fire or heating sources.

MODALITÀ DI AMMINISTRAZIONE:
La somministrazione del medicinale veterinario Varachet Forte viene effettuata solo dall'urdina, a tutti gli alveari.

La via di somministrazione è esterna, attraverso la fumigazione. Per la somministrazione, la striscia di carta fumigante sarà piegata longitudinalmente in modo che l'aria possa essere utilizzata per mantenere la combustione completa della striscia.

Utilizzando la pipetta, prelevare il liquido dalla bottiglia e gocciolare, con la distanza tra le gocce, sulla striscia di fumo. Le cinghie devono essere accese ad entrambe le estremità. Al livello di combustione della striscia di cartone si sviluppa una temperatura di 300-400 ° C, quindi il prodotto viene somministrato con particolare cura, appoggiando le strisce di fumo accese su reti di sgombro o pezzi di stagno in modo da non incendiare l'alveare o il padiglione.
Subito dopo aver inserito la fascia accesa (senza fiamma) l'ordito dell'alveare si chiuderà per 15-20 minuti.

Il dosaggio del numero di gocce è correlato al volume dell'alveare come segue:

2 gocce per un corpo alveare a più piani;
3 gocce per un corpo alveare Dadant a 10 frame;

5 gocce per un corpo alveare orizzontale di 20 fotogrammi.

Se nelle ultime due somministrazioni le famiglie di api sono già state limitate allo svernamento con diaframma totalmente separatore (sigillato), allora il dosaggio del numero di gocce si riferisce al nuovo spazio occupato dalla famiglia di api, esempio: 1 goccia per mezzo corpo multipiano; 2 gocce per due terzi del corpo di Dadant di 10 fotogrammi; 3 gocce per b mezzo corpo orizzontale da 20 fotogrammi; quando ci sono due famiglie in un alveare orizzontale, ciascuna riceverà 3 gocce.
La somministrazione del prodotto Varachet Forte avviene per tutta la stagione attiva (al di fuori dei periodi di raccolta della produzione), con la menzione che i trattamenti con la massima efficacia sono quelli dell'autunno, quando non c'è capacità.

La prima somministrazione viene effettuata in primavera quando le api hanno iniziato la normale attività. Le successive tre somministrazioni vengono eseguite nel mese di agosto, con un intervallo di 7-10 giorni, dopo la raccolta del miele per la vendita.

In autunno si effettuano altre due somministrazioni ad intervalli di 7-10 giorni, l'ultima in totale assenza dei giovani dall'alveare. Se esiste ancora una nidiata capace, mantiene gli acari distruttivi della Varroa, che con la schiusa della covata rimangono nell'alveare, riuscendo più a parassitare per tutto l'inverno, riproducendosi con la prima generazione di covate in primavera.
