COMPOSIZIONE - Una compressa da 250 mg contiene: Metionina 200 mg;Eccipienti (lattosio e magnesio stearato) ad 250 mg.AZIONE FARMACOLOGICA La metionina è un amminoacido essenziale (tioaminoacido), che può essere utilizzato per abbassare (acidificare) il pH urinario come adiuvante o trattamento preventivo nell'urolitiasi nei gatti e nei cani.Può anche essere usato come fonte aggiuntiva di metionina nella correzione dei deficit alimentari.SPECIE DI DESTINAZIONE: Cani e gatti INDICAZIONI: nella profilassi e nel controllo della litiasi urinaria e come agente epatoprotettivo. CONTROINDICAZIONI: Non utilizzato in coma epatico, iperammonemia, epatite grave o encefalopatia. REAZIONI AVVERSE: la somministrazione del prodotto a stomaco vuoto può produrre disturbi gastrointestinali. METODO DI SOMMINISTRAZIONE Il prodotto viene somministrato per via orale a cani e gatti nella dose di: 1 compressa / 5 kg di peso corporeo (200 mg sa / 5 kg di peso corporeo), 2 volte al giorno, per 21 giorni in litiasi urinaria e 10 giorni come epatoprotettivo , senza superare 8 compresse / animale / giorno, indipendentemente dalle dimensioni. AVVERTENZE: il prodotto viene somministrato dopo il pasto. METODO DI PRESENTAZIONE: Bottiglie con 100 compresse.
