Melilax Microenema for Adults, 6x10g, Aboca

Melilax Microenema is an innovative honey-based microenema, which combines a balanced evacuation action with a protective and soothing action of the rectal mucosa, useful to combat discomfort, irritation and inflammation, present in case of constipation. The double action of Melilax is obtained thanks to PROMELAXIN, an active complex of nectar honey, specially selected and processed according to their content of monosaccharides, polysaccharides and melanoidins, enriched with the polysaccharide fraction of Aloe and Marshmallow.

Melilax Microenema exerts a non-irritating evacuation action and therefore induces a physiological and balanced stimulus to activate defecation. Also, due to its similar properties to the mucosa, as well as its viscosity, Melilax Microenema protects the rectal mucosa during the passage of fecal matter, mimicking the lubricating action of physiological mucus. 

These special properties, combined with the antioxidant action, give the product the ability to protect and soothe the mucosa, exerting an indirect anti-inflammatory action due to the physical characteristics of the product.

Ingredients: Promelaxin – active complex of honey and polysaccharides from Aloe and Marshmallow Titra; hydroglyceric mixture, lamiae juice and lavender essential oil.

Method of administration: 1 microenema of 10g, if needed. Apply a few drops to the perianal area and gently insert the cannula into the rectum. Press the microenema all the way down, and at the end of the application keep it pressed until the cannula is completely extracted, to prevent the product from being aspirated.

It is also suitable for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding

In case of persistent constipation, 2 doses are applied simultaneously.

Precautions and contraindications:

It is not recommended for people with hypersensitivity to one of the components of the product;
Keep out of reach of children;
It cannot be reused when half a dose is administered, such as in infants.
