ERITROM 100 g.
Broad-spectrum antibacterial for the prevention and treatment of diseases caused by mycoplasmas, germs of the genus Pasteurella spp., Vibro spp., Streptococcus spp., Staphylococcus spp. in cage birds, pigeons and ornamental chickens.

COMPOSITION
100 g ERITROM contains:
Erythromycin thiocyanate 6 g;
Sodium citrate 13 g;
Methylene blue 1 g;
Excipients (lactose) per 100 g.

PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION
Erythromycin thiocyanate is an antibiotic with bacteriostatic action; Due to its liposoluble nature, it crosses the walls with lipid structure, thus inactivating mycoplasmas.
It is more active against infections with Mycoplasma gallisepticum and some Gram-positive (Staphylcoccus spp., Streptococcus spp.) and Gram-negative (Pasteurella spp., Haemophilus spp., Escherichia coli) bacteria. Compared to other antibiotics, it has the advantage that it does not disturb the absorption of calcium from feed, does not produce the phenomenon of antibiotic resistance. Methylene blue acts as a general antiseptic.

INDICATIONS
Prevention and treatment of diseases caused by mycoplasmas, germs of the genus Pasteurella spp., Vibro spp., Streptococcus spp., Staphylococcus spp. in cage birds, pigeons and ornamental chickens.
The effect of erythromycin is enhanced by the presence of methylene blue.
The product can be administered from the first day of life.

METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
The product is administered orally, in drinking water, at a dose of 1.6-2 g/liter of water, for 5-7 days.

The product is not administered to birds intended for human consumption.

COMPOSIZIONE
100 g di ERITROM contengono:
Eritromicina tiocianato 6 g;
Sodio citrato 13 g;
Blu di metilene 1 g;
Eccipienti (lattosio) per 100 g.

AZIONE FARMACOLOGICA
L'eritromicina tiocianato è un antibiotico ad azione batteriostatica; grazie alla sua natura liposolubile, attraversa le pareti con struttura lipidica, inattivando così i micoplasmi.
È più attivo contro le infezioni da Mycoplasma gallisepticum e alcuni batteri Gram-positivi (Staphylcoccus spp., Streptococcus spp.) e Gram-negativi (Pasteurella spp., Haemophilus spp., Escherichia coli). Rispetto ad altri antibiotici, ha il vantaggio di non disturbare l'assorbimento del calcio dagli alimenti, non producendo il fenomeno della resistenza agli antibiotici. Il blu di metilene agisce come antisettico generale.

INDICAZIONI
Prevenzione e trattamento delle malattie causate da micoplasmi, germi del genere Pasteurella spp., Vibro spp., Streptococcus spp., Staphylococcus spp. in uccelli da gabbia, piccioni e polli ornamentali.
L'effetto dell'eritromicina è potenziato dalla presenza di blu di metilene.
Il prodotto può essere somministrato fin dal primo giorno di vita.

Le soluzioni di Erythrom vengono preparate al momento dell'uso.
Non somministrare insieme ad altri antibiotici.
Il prodotto non viene somministrato ad uccelli destinati al consumo umano.
