INDICATIONS:
Gastrointestinal nematode : Haemonchus, Ostertagia, Trichostrongylus, Strongyloides, Bunostomum, Coopera, Nematodirus, Chabertia, Oesophagostomum, Toxocara
COMPOSITION:
100 ml contains:
-Albendazole 10 g
-Excipient up to 100 ml
Albedazole is one of the substances with the broadest anthelmintic spectrum, being active on nematodes, cestodes and trematodes. It also has an oocidal action, so it reduces the possibility of contamination through pasture.
INDICATIONS:
It is recommended in cattle, sheep and goats as well as wild ruminants for the prevention and treatment against the following groups of endoparasites:
- gastrointestinal nematode : Haemonchus, Ostertagia, Trichostrongylus, Strongyloides, Bunostomum, Coopera, Nematodirus, Chabertia, Oesophagostomum, Toxocara;
- pulmonary nematode : Dictyocaulus, Protostrongyloidae;
- tapeworms: Moniezia;
- adult trematod: Fasciola, Dicrocoelium, Varestrongylus, Elaphosrongylus.
SPECIES: Cattle, sheep, goats
METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE:
Vermitan 10% suspension is administered orally with a self-dosing gun.
- Cattle: the general dose is 7.5 ml / 100 kg live weight, and against adult forms of trematodes the dose can go up to 10 ml / 100 kg.
- Sheep and goats: the general dose is 0.5 ml / 10 kg live weight, and for adult forms of trematodes the dose will be 0.75 ml / 10 kg.
PRECAUTIONS:
Animals in the first third of gestation should not be treated with Vermita.
