Antiparasitic Tablets for dogs and cats   Composition   Each 420 mg tablet contains:   Pyrantel pamoat............................................................ 144 mg Prazyquantel.................................................................   50 mg   Excipient up to............................................... 420 mg   Action   Prazytel by the two active substances acts on the endoparaziţilor adults of the nematode class (Pyrantel pamoat) and Cestoda (Prazyquantel).   Administered per bone is absorbed by 60-65%, the remainder being eliminated through the faeces, reaching the maximum concentration in the blood after 1-3 hours. After metabolism in the liver is eliminated by urine.   Indications   In the treatment of infestations with Ancylostoma caninum, Unstenocephala, Toxocara canis, Toxocarae, Toxascaris Leonina, Echinococcus granulosus, Dipylidium caninus, Mesocestoides spp. in dogs and cats   Way to use   The product is given orally, individually as such or included in food, after mortaring at different doses as follows:   At the dog, 1 tablet for 10 kg body weight; In the case of infestation with Dipylidium caninum The treatment is repeated at 14 days, while combating intermediate hosts on dogs (fleas).   In adult cats ½ tablet, and in youth ¼ tablet.   If there are no coproparazitologice examinations of infestations with parasites, the treatments are done quarterly. If Parazitologică supervision is done, the treatments shall be applied according to the results of the laboratory analyses.   Contraindications and Precautions   It is recommended to avoid the combination of treatment with Parasimpaticomi   Metice, Organofosforice and Piperazine.   Storage conditions   At temperature of 15-25 °c, protected from direct sunlight.
