Sinupret syrup 100 ml Bionorica (administered in acute and chronic inflammation of the paranasal sinus mucosa) belongs to the drug group: phytotherapeutic preparations and can be used based on the doctor's recommendation in medical conditions such as: flu, pneumonia, cold, cold in children, sinusitis medicinal plants:extract of cowslip (Primula officinalis), elderflower extract (Sambucus nigra), gentiana extract (Gentiana lutea), verbena extract (Verbena officinalis).

Indications:
Sinupret Syrup is a herbal medicine used in the treatment of acute and chronic inflammation of the mucosa of the paranasal sinuses. It is indicated for children from 2 years of age, adolescents and adults.
Contraindications:
Do not use Sinupret Syrup:
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to gentian root, verbena grass, sorrel grass, elderflower, cowslip flowers or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
Pregnancy, lactation and fertility:
Sinupret Syrup will be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding only after a strict risk-benefit assessment by the doctor.
Due to the alcohol content, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, use Sinupret Syrup only if you cannot take Sinupret dragees.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Driving and using machines:
No special precautions are required.
Dosage:
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
The recommended dose is:
- Children aged 2 to 5 years: 6.3 ml = 7.5 g (2.1 ml 3 times a day)
- Children aged 6 to 11 years: 10.5 ml = 12.6 g (3.5 ml 3 times a day)
- Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older: 21.0 ml = 25.2 g (7.0 ml 3 times daily)
Sinupret Syrup is taken 3 times a day. For correct dosing, use the measuring cup attached to the bottle with appropriate graduations.

Composition:
- The active substances are: gentian extract (root), verbena (grass), sorrel (grass), elderberry (flower), cowslip (calyx flower). One ml syrup contains: 416.8 mg extract (drug/extract ratio 1:38.5) of gentian root (Gentianae radix), cut; Verbena grass (Verbenae herba), cut; sorrel grass (Rumicis herba), cut; elderflower (Sambuci flos), ground; flowers of calyx-calyx (Primulae flos calycibus), cut; (1:3:3:3:3);
- The other ingredients are: liquid maltitol, cherry flavor.
